"We have been training for the past several weeks and according to the high techniques we were tough by our Egyptian coach Ahmed Abdul Munim we are very satisfied and hopeful of success" the captain told reporters late on Wednesday, a day before the game kick off on Friday.

He said that the team has made a big change for the past two years they have been trained by the Egyptian coach saying the quality of the squad members has been high since then.

Mean while Somalia says will crush down its Djiboutian opponents in Friday’s clash according to Captain Yusuf Ali of the ocean stars who have been training at the Djibouti`s national training centre since Tuesday.

"I think we are stronger and more powerful than our rivals here in Djibouti and although we are not in our homeland then I can say we have high hopes and will kick them out of the CHAN qualifying competition" Yusuf Ali of Somalia stresses.

If either Djibouti or Somalia qualifies will then face Tanzania in early march this year, according to Somali football federation President Said Mahmoud Nur who arrived in Djibouti late Wednesday to encourage his team to work hard and gain success over its rivals.

In other development both countries will not partake in the upcoming African cup of nations because they were already eliminated in the qualifying matches.
